EXPERT WITNESS
Alabama Metallurgical Consulting provides independent expert witness services grounded in sound engineering principles and real-world experience. We assist attorneys, insurers, and organizations by evaluating materials, manufacturing processes, and failure mechanisms, and by presenting clear, defensible technical opinions based on engineering principles and documented evidence. Our role is to explain what the evidence shows—objectively and accurately—through written reports, deposition support, and courtroom testimony.
AUDIT SUPPORT
Alabama Metallurgical Consulting supports clients in preparing for and responding to external audits related to materials and manufacturing processes. We assist organizations facing customer audits or reviews by industry bodies such as API and DNV by evaluating material specifications, processing practices, technical documentation, and supplier capabilities. We also support client-led audits of material vendors and other suppliers, providing independent engineering assessments to help identify technical risks and ensure materials and processes align with applicable standards and project requirements.
TRAINING
Targeted training is provided for engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to build practical understanding of materials and manufacturing processes. These sessions focus on material behavior, processing fundamentals, and common failure mechanisms, with an emphasis on how these factors affect real-world performance, manufacturing decisions, and customer interactions.
